What we collect and why
- Enquiry emails. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use this only to respond to and manage your enquiry. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (handling your request) or steps prior to a contract.
- Server logs. Our web host records standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to keep the site secure and running. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (security and reliability).
When our Amazon store launches, purchases will be made on Amazon, not on this site, and Amazon will handle the personal data involved in those orders under its own privacy policy.
Who processes it
Our website is hosted on infrastructure provided by Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany, within the EU). We do not sell or share your personal data for marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to deal with your request and any follow-up, then delete them. Server logs are retained only for a short period for security and troubleshooting.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email us at the address above.
